| Since it's been almost two months since I blogged, I figured it was time for an update. Silly now, looking back and seeing that I used to write in this thing multiple times per day. I find that the less I use technology, the less I need it. If I'm constantly on xanga, facebook, or myspace, I'm always wondering if someone commented on what I had to say. When I stay off for a while, I don't care all that much. I've noticed, too, that though I have technology at my fingertips allowing me to find anyone, anywhere, anytime to keep in touch - I don't do it. I facebook'ed the people I talked to every day at MACU... since summer hit, I've gotten on Facebook maybe half a dozen times. It seems it should be the other way around.... talk to the people I see every day, then use facebook, ect to keep in touch with I don't talk to them. Does anyone else notice this trend? I just cleaned my car, finally. Why I feel compelled to tell you such borish news, I don't know. That's what a blog is for, right? It certainly isn't for me to keep in touch. Conclusion: My myspace, xanga, and facebook is a waste of good technology. Someone sit and programmed and desined this software for months so I could tell you I cleaned my car. |
